Privacy

Everything you create in Motion Studio stays on your device.

Your work. Images and videos you drop in are processed entirely in your browser — never uploaded, never seen by us. There are no accounts. Close the tab and nothing is left with us.

One exception: your licence. Activating Pro in the editor sends your licence key to our payment provider to be checked, and the editor re-checks it periodically after that — roughly once a week. That check is the only thing that leaves your browser, and your images are never part of it — it carries the licence key and the ordinary network details any web request carries, such as your IP address.

Analytics. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless counter: no cookies, no session recordings, no personal profiles. Our hosting provider (Vercel) also keeps standard server logs for security and operations. These logs are kept by our hosting provider for a limited period and used only for security and operations (legitimate interest). To ask about or request deletion of data, email usemotionstudio@gmail.com; you may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Preferences and licence. Editor preferences (your theme and panel layout), any presets you save, and — once you activate Pro — your licence key are stored in your browser's localStorage. They contain no images — your files never enter localStorage. Nothing there leaves your machine.

Because the key lives in that browser, activating Pro on another device or in another browser means pasting it again: your key is in your receipt email, so keep that email. Clearing your browser data clears all of the above with it — your Pro activation and any presets you saved.

Payments. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record — we never see or store your card details. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.

Terms

The service is provided "as is", to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Your work is yours — anything you create belongs entirely to you, for any personal or commercial use. We claim no rights over it.

You are responsible for having the rights to any images or videos you load into the tool.

Don't abuse, attack, or attempt to disrupt the service, and don't use it for anything unlawful.

Free-plan exports and embeds include a small Motion Studio logo; keeping it visible is a condition of the free plan.

Pro. Pro is a one-time purchase of $39 USD — you buy it once, and it does not renew. This is an early-bird price. We may change the price later, and any change applies only to orders placed after it; it never reaches back to an order you have already made.

Delivery. Your licence key is emailed to you with your receipt as soon as the payment goes through. The key is for your own use, and you may activate it on as many of your own devices as you need.

What you bought stays bought. If Pro changes later, everything your purchase included on the day you bought it stays included. We will not move a capability you have paid for behind a further payment.

Your exports do not depend on us. Every export is self-contained and runs without contacting our servers. If we ever stop operating the service, exports you have already made keep working.

Refunds. Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and refunds are theirs to decide — case by case, at their discretion. Pro unlocks the moment you paste your licence key, so the right of withdrawal is lost once delivery has begun.

Limits. If we are held liable to you for anything connected with the service, our total liability is capped at the amount you have paid for the service. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profits, lost work, lost data, or business interruption. Some liability cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence and for fraud; nothing on this page limits or removes it.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (Republic of China), and the Taiwan Taipei District Court is the court of first instance for any dispute arising from them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of any mandatory law of the country you live in, and you may also bring proceedings there.
